Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a form of physiotherapy treatment that takes place in a pool. Movement in the water is easier than on land and allows freedom of movement that may not be possible on land. The effects of turbulence and buoyancy combined with water resistance help to reduce pain and muscle spasm, and improve strength, range of movement and flexibility. You do not need to be able to swim in order to benefit from hydrotherapy. Our Physiotherapists would be happy to assess you and set up an appropriate program for you.
