To bring awareness to brain injury and its connection to intimate partner violence, while empowering individuals in their recovery.
Brain injuries related to intimate partner violence can result from blows to the head and/or body, shaking, strangulation, or repeated trauma, and are often overlooked or misunderstood.

At St. Marys Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic, Dorota Klubowicz, Registered Physiotherapist, co-leads brain injury and concussion programs alongside Speech-Language Pathologist Nicole Ferreira of WellCom Speech. Together, we are committed to empowering individuals through education, knowledge, and support, helping them better understand their symptoms and regain a sense of control in their recovery. Our programs are free and accessible, ensuring that support is available to those who need it, without barriers, no matter what stage of recovery you are in.
